Santiago graduated with an M.Div and a Th.M from The Master's Seminary and after several years working at Grace Community Church in 2021 he was sent by the elders of GCC to plant a Church in Cali, Colombia, and help to establish a TMAI center in the country with other TMS grads.
After the first years of ministry in Colombia, the Lord has blessed the ministry in a special way. The hand of the Lord has been blessing the effort of this ministry and this is reflected in the salvation and sanctification of multiple families in the city of Cali.
The Christian Biblical Church of Cali (IBCC), is becoming a model church for other churches in the country and even in neighboring countries. Which has generated a considerable increase in ministry responsibilities. By God's grace, He has put the right people on the team to diligently serve the church.
In addition to the regular responsibilities of the church and the ministry of training pastors and leaders in the training center, IBCC annually hosts a conference to bless leaders and their families at an event called “Baluarte de la Verdad” where we receive visitors from various cities in Colombia and people from other countries such as Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Panama.
Although the church has grown numerically rapidly in the early years, it is still a church that needs to grow in maturity. This is our main prayer, that God brings spiritual growth to his people in Cali.
Goals
Instruction through preaching and leadership to the church.
We have gone through the first stage of church planting and establishing basic church ministries. Now we need to continue preaching the full counsel of God and leading the church to grow in discernment and maturity. Also, we have a focus in the next years on the training of key leaders in the Church.
Help the planting of new churches and the revitalization of Churches.
In the last time, the requests of other churches and small groups in the country and neighboring countries have increased so that we help them in the establishment of truly biblical churches. So, we have begun to consider the best options to train men for ministry by working together between TMAI and local church training.
Lead a ministry of Biblical Conferences.
Continue with a Biblical conferences ministry to encourage and equip church leaders and create fellowship among believers with the same philosophy of ministry based on sound doctrine. Along these lines, an annual conference called “Baluarte de La Verdad” was begun in 2019.
