As Shepherds Conference approaches, we are excited to welcome over five thousand pastors and church leaders from around the world to our church campus this week.
Our conference speakers will address topics that equip men in leadership with rich truths that expound on the global power of God through the gospel. In keeping with the mission of Shepherds Conference since its inception in 1980, it is our hope that this time together would “provide the opportunity for men in church leadership to be challenged in their commitment to biblical ministry and to find encouragement together as servants of our Chief Shepherd.”
You play a critical role in supporting these men to this end. More than 1,000 members of our church family have selflessly volunteered their time, energy, and resources to serve at this year’s Shepherds Conference. Yet, even if you are not able to serve in this way, you still play a pivotal role in the mission of Grace Church and the Shepherds Conference.
By joining in prayer, you are supporting the efforts of the volunteers, speakers, and attendees. For this reason, we ask that you visit the Shepherds Conference table on the Patio this morning to pick up a prayer card. Each card lists the names of five attendees. Our goal is to pray for all the attendees by name, asking the Lord to bless their time at the conference and trusting that the Word would produce a fruitful harvest in the hearts and lives of these men. It is a great joy to be able to tell these men when they arrive that our church has been praying for them each by name.
Our prayer is that this conference will encourage and equip our attendees—that each message, breakout session, and providential conversation will strengthen them in the truth they love and have been called to proclaim. We encourage you to participate in this exciting endeavor as we lift our voices to God in prayer.
We invite you to view the conference general sessions via livestream at shepherdsconference.org or on the Grace Media app. Please note that in order to best serve our guests, the campus will be closed to non-registered attendees throughout the week.
