The Veurinks

Benjamin and Diana Veurink are missionaries to the South America nation of Colombia. Benjamin has served in Colombia since 2012 and it was in 2014 that he got married with Diana. God has blessed them with three children: Abigail (2016), Eleanor (2020), and Benjamin (2022). Since 2021 Benjamin has been privileged to serve in the church plant of Iglesia Bíblica Cristiana de Cali alongside missionaries Michael Dennis and Santiago Armel. Additionally, Benjamin is one of the professors of the Seminario de Expositores, which seeks to equip pastors and leaders to handle the Word of God rightly. Benjamin has graduated with his MMB and M.Div from The Master’s Seminary and is currently pursuing a Th.M in New Testament. Benjamin has a passion for seeing Christ exalted in Colombia through the salvation of sinners and desires to see the saints sanctified through their understanding of Scripture, and grow in their love for Christ as they seek to proclaim the gospel of Christ and live for His glory.

The good hand of the Lord has been blessing the ministry of the Word and this is reflected in the salvation and sanctification of so many families in the city of Cali. By God’s grace, Iglesia Bíblica Cristiana de Cali is becoming a model church for other churches in the nation and even in neighboring countries. The Lord has knit together a faithful team to diligently serve the church. Although the church has grown rapidly in these first years, it still needs to grow in spiritual maturity.

Ministry Focus

Local Church: Serve faithfully Iglesia Bíblica Cristiana de Cali, proclaiming the gospel of Christ Jesus and equipping the saints for further ministry in the city of Cali.

Pastoral Training: Train Christian leaders for pastoral ministry, who can accurately handle Scripture, preach the Word expositionally, and faithfully shepherd the body of Christ.

Church Planting and Revitalization: Assist and support the transition of churches and small groups in the nation and neighboring countries who desire to be truly biblical churches.

Biblical Conferences: Host conferences to encourage and equip church leaders and create fellowship among believers with the same philosophy of ministry based on sound doctrine. Along these lines, an annual conference called “Baluarte de La Verdad” was begun in 2019.
