In 2002, Aaron and Susan were commissioned and sent out by Grace Community Church to serve in Cameroon, Africa, in the ministry of Bible translation among the Kotoko, an unreached Muslim people of northern Cameroon and Chad. Aaron has developed literacy materials and a dictionary in the language. He is presently translating the New Testament.
Aaron and Susan are currently based in Tampa, FL, serving with Horizons International. Aaron makes regular trips to Chad and Cameroon to work in person with his fellow translators. When stateside, he works remotely with his team.
In 2025, Susan was diagnosed with breast cancer. The Lord has sustained her thus far and, Lord willing, she will be cancer-free in 2026. Aaron and Susan are very grateful to the Lord for providing for their financial needs through loving friends, family, and supporting churches.
Aaron and Susan have three daughters: Rebecca (2000), Ruth (2002), and Rachel (2006).
Aaron graduated from The Master’s Seminary in 2002 with an M.Div and also has a Ph.D in Linguistics from UCLA (1995).
