VBS Dates: June 23–26, with a Family Concert on June 28.
All potential volunteers who are 18 years and older MUST be members of GCC and complete a Live Scan background check & Ministry Safe Training prior to VBS (gracechurch.org/backgroundcheck).
At this year’s VBS, the kids will discover the beauty of life and growth that God uniquely and graciously offers. This year’s theme, “God of Light,” will explore one of the incredible ways that our God chooses to reveal Himself to us.
From the beginning of God’s Word to the end, God consistently describes Himself as the God of Light. The children will see that in God’s perfect plan, the Light has come into the world. But mankind rejects the light and chooses darkness in their lost and sinful arrogance. The great news is that the Light of the world has come to rescue us from the darkness and calls us to walk in His marvelous light.

May 10: Last day for Volunteer Sign-ups
June 7: Volunteer Training from 12:45–3 pm in the Family Center
June 23–26: Vacation Bible School

To Volunteer You Must...
- Be a member of Grace Church and pass a background check (for those 18 years and older)
- Fill out a VBS application online
- Standard volunteer schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 8 am–12:30 pm (alternate schedules are available for many areas of service)
- Nursery provided for children of volunteers (infant–5 years)

- Complete the volunteer application online by Sunday, May 10.
- Fill out a background check form if you do not already have one on file (information for background checks can be found at gracechurch.org/backgroundcheck)
- There will be mandatory volunteer training on Sunday, June 7, from 12:45–3 pm in the Family Center
